  17.          What is NCoast ** Cleveland Public Access UNIX/XENIX ?
  18.          ==========================================================

  20.  This system is one of thousands of computers connected world wide under the
  21.  USENET system;  but one of few which grant public access to both a standard
  22.  UNIX/XENIX operating environment, and USENET mail and NEWS operations.
  23.  
  24.  The  ** NCoast **  computer access system both runs a true BBS system known
  25.  as the  < XBBS >  (Xenix Bulletin Board System) containing all the features
  26.  of a bbs system for Personal Computers (PC's) and much more.   However, the
  27.  main feature of  ** NCoast **  is the ability to allow direct access to the
  28.  XENIX  Operating System for the more technically oriented computer enthusi-
  29.  est as a compliment to the  < XBBS >  Program.

  31.  There is no charge for access to the bbs section of ncoast.  System Specs:
  32.  
  33.   80386 20 MZ AT machine running SCO XENIX 2.3.3
  34.   Stargate Smart Port Card, 4 MB Ram, 500MB Storage, 4 phone lines.

  36.  Available accounts are:
  37.          bbs      - access to the < XBBS > Program
  38.          help     - this information and XENIX access information
  39.          makeuser - one method of requesting access to the XENIX  Operating
  40.                     Sys (which is granted after registration)
  41.          newuser  - this information and XENIX access information
  42.          gripe    - system complaints/suggestions  (for Rich Garrett, Sysop)

  44.  Upon calling the  ** NCoast **  system,  enter a valid choice from the above 
  45.  list of accounts (bbs, help, makeuser, newuser, gripe) no password is required
  46.  for the 'login' accounts listed above.  If you choose to have access to the
  47.  XENIX  Operating System,  you will be given an 'user name' for your 'login'
  48.  and a 'password' will also be required for you.
  49.  
  50.  The 'help', 'makeuser' or 'newuser' logins all contain a questionnaire which
  51.  is to be completed and mailed to Rich Garrett along with the required fee
  52.  and,  after verification of the information given,  you will be able to log
  53.  into the ** NCoast ** system with your own password and personal directory.

  55.  You MUST return the attached form before you will receive access;  or comp-
  56.  lete the form 'on-line' and upon receipt of your subscription fee, you will
  57.  receive access.

  59.  The bbs login can be obtained by the following:

  61.  At the 'ncoast!login:' prompt type 'bbs' and enter.  If you do not get the 
  62.  'ncoast!login:' prompt, send a BREAK to switch between baud rates.
